Community Health Partnerships (CHP) is a strategic partner to the NHS, managing community health facilities across England. This case study explores Safepoint’s collaboration with CHP, focusing on the delivery of fire risk assessments for the Northwest team.
CHP required short-term, competent support for its Northwest team, which was responsible for ensuring fire safety across 39 community health centres. The project required a partner that aligned strongly with CHP’s values and standards and could integrate quickly with existing workflows. Timely completion was essential, with a strict six-month deadline for all assessments and actions.
Safepoint began by adapting to CHP’s established systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration with the Northwest team. Challenges included diverse facility layouts and varying levels of existing risk controls; Safepoint addressed these with tailored solutions and ongoing feedback to the CHP team.
Safepoint delivered all fire risk assessments within the six-month deadline. Recommended actions were issued to managers before the final assessments were uploaded, enabling straightforward issues to be resolved ahead of final submission and helping to ensure each centre met compliance requirements. The professional relationship between Safepoint and CHP’s Northwest team strengthened throughout the project, establishing a foundation of trust and reliability.
Following the project’s success, CHP invited Safepoint to support its Northeast team with an additional 16 fire risk assessments. This invitation reflects CHP’s confidence in Safepoint’s expertise and its commitment to ongoing collaboration.
